Faith for Living Hour - July 29, 2020

“The Secret Soup & the Sacred Memory” The Fr. Michael A. Renninger’s theme for the week is “Dining in the Kingdom of God.” Jesus loved to eat! He loved to gather people around the table where he taught them and inspired them to hope. While Christians often focus their attention on the Last Supper, we are enriched when we explore some of the Other Suppers we hear about in the Gospels. Jesus was teaching us many things as he broke bread with people. By coming to a deeper appreciation of the meals which Jesus shared, perhaps we can come to a deeper appreciation of the meals we share, and the people who sit with us at the tables of our lives.
